21 Algarve schools applied for 40 projects to the Child Friendly School - Jornal diariOnline Região Sul


Twenty-one schools from the Algarve have applied for 40 projects to the 2nd edition of the Amiga da Criança School, an initiative that "recognizes, shares and stimulates educational projects that make children happier within their school environment."

It is an initiative of the National Confederation of Parents' Associations (CONFAP), LeYa and the psychologist Eduardo Sá.

On May 31, the winner of the project will be announced, which will earn 5000 euros in LeYa books, as well as projects distinguished in the different categories, which will also earn 500 euros in LeYa books for the school libraries and also the distinction / seal for all schools whose projects distinguish themselves.

In the Algarve, the following schools were applied: Pontal School Center, Colégio do Rio, Colégio Luz São Gonçalo, Santiago Internacional College, EB1 São João da Venda, EB1 Prof. Caldeira Alexandre, EB1 / JI de Conceição, EB1 / JI de Moncarapacho, EB1 / JI Horta do Carmo, EB1 / JI de São Brás de Alportel, EB 2.3 D.
