360 Tech Industry highlights Portuguese startups - Expert

The first edition of the 360 ​​Tech Industry – International Industry Fair 4.0, Robotics, Automation and Composites will be held from 16 to 18 May at Exponor, which will highlight the innovative projects of Portuguese startups.

The event promoted by Exponor Exhibitions will be entitled "Embrace the Change". Its aim is to anticipate the industry of the future, showing the solutions that, combining technology and innovation, will allow to optimize processes and monetize resources.

Whereas technology startups play the role of instigators and accelerators of change, the 360 ​​Tech Industry will provide them with a special stage. In the space Hubtech will be on display 10 Portuguese startups, chosen through a contest promoted by the organization.

The selected startups are: Smart Separations, responsible for the creation of a microfiltration technology through ceramic filters; Unmanned Tools – UT, which creates robots for forestry and agricultural applications; Scubic, with data-based energy solutions to improve water-energy management; Mitmynid, a company that offers software to logistics and transport entities; Emitu, a startup that develops industrial solutions based on location, sensing and management of workflows; B2cloud, a specialist in information technology management and application development aimed at industrial automation, robotics and marketing management; Luggit, a platform designed to organize the transport of luggage; Smarkio, a cloud-based marketing solution for the creation of a marketing automation platform with chatbots; Wetrack, a company that develops, markets and implements a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solution; and XPIM 3D Printing, which, as the name implies, operates in the 3D printing industry.

According to Carla Maia, Marketing Director of Exponor Exhibitions, "360 Tech Industry intends to create a platform of contact between an innovation-driven industry and the solutions proposed by startups, fostering partnerships and synergies."

The event will be divided into three main areas: Connected Factories, which focuses on the digital transformation of companies through the application of new technologies to production processes; Composites, dedicated to new materials that can be used in manufacturing; and Robotics, which promotes the applicability of robotic solutions in companies, reducing not only time but also cost of production. The conference cycle "Let's Talk 4.0" will also be held, dedicated to the various areas that interact with industry 4.0.
