The possibility had been announced in May at the F8 developer conference, and will now start to be used. For now only through the app for iOS and some Apple smartphone models.
As promised during F8, Facebook made it possible to post 3D photos in the feed. For now, the ability to create images with depth effects only applies to the iOS app and users with the iPhone 7 Plus, 8 Plus, X or XS models.
To publish this type of photos you need to create a new publication from the app, click on the icon with the three dots, choose the option "3D Photo" and select a photo from the gallery of the phone. The image will then be "converted" by the Facebook system to gain the three-dimensional effect.
