5th AquaSilves Seminar - Jornal diariOnline Região Sul

The Municipality of Silves, in partnership with the Portuguese Swimming Federation, will organize the 5th AquaSilves Seminar on 20 and 21 October in the Municipal Swimming Pools of Silves.

The action, aimed at superior sports technicians, Physical Education teachers, students, coaches, technical directors, exercise technicians and other sports agents, intends to promote a joint action and participation in the transmission of experiences and knowledge exchange at the level of activities thus contributing to a gradual increase in the quality of work in this area.

On the first day of work, the action will begin at 2:00 pm with the opening session by the Mayor of Silves, Regional Director of IPDJ and Presidents of FPN and ANALGARVE. This afternoon's work will be guided by Marc Moreira from the Portugal a Nadar program, which will talk about the coordination of a swimming school.

On October 21, the seminar will run from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The morning will be filled with the panels "Swimming for babies: learning to play!", By Carla Romaneiro, and "The sharing of good practices as a methodology", by Pedro Mortágua. The Seminar will end this afternoon with the Portugal Training to Swim "Reference model of the FPN for the teaching of technical improvement", by Marc Moreira.

It should be noted that the training is credited by IPDJ (period 1: 1 UC, period 2: 0,8UC and period 3: 1UC, in a total of 2,8UC).

Entries, limited to 70 participants, run until October 18 at https://www.cm-silves.pt/Preview.aspx?pageID=4888&ver=9027 and have an associated cost of 50 euros (for the three periods) . Those who wish can also apply for a single period (20 euros) or two periods (35 euros).

It should be noted that the Municipality of Silves offers a social program for accompanying participants, also guaranteeing an animation service (Out of Water) during the training period for children accompanying the participants.
