AD Buarcos 2017 qualified for the finals of the National Championship

Two games, two wins, 11 goals scored and just two conceded. The irreproachable route of the AD Buarcos 2017 in the first phase of national Championship in Beach football will allow the team coached by João Leitão and Rui Guerra to discuss, between the 25th and 27th of September, the ascent to the first division of beach soccer in Portugal, the Elite Championship.
The yellow and blue ensemble dominated group A of the North Zone, which was played on Saturday, without an audience, at Buarcos Beach.
In the first round, AD Buarcos 2017 beat, by 7-1, Âncora Praia FC. In great prominence was the captain of the home team, Hugo Almeida, who with the number 9 on his back, scored three of the seven goals. Francisco Ferreira, Tiago Neves, Mário Ferreira and João Costa scored the remaining goals of the 2017 AD Buarcos triumph.
In the second round, Boavista FC defeated Âncora Praia 4-2 and discussed the first place of the group with the team from the municipality of Figueira da Foz.
AD Buarcos 2017 returned to a great level and with a 4-1 triumph, guaranteed the “passport” for the final of the North Zone and, also, the presence among the best eight teams of the National Championship, which, between 25 and September 27, they play the final phase of the competition at Praia da Nazaré, at the Jordan Santos Stadium. Hugo Almeida scored two goals against the northern team, with David Silva and João Costa contributing a goal.
In the final of the North Zone, which will also take place at Praia de Buarcos, the opponent will be Varzim, who won group B (see support table). The duel between the two teams is scheduled for 16:30 on 19 September.

“We achieved the first objective, which was to pass to the round of 16. Now we are going to wait for the draw, but we are confident that we can beat any opponent and move up the division, ”said Pedro Charana, president of AD Buarcos 2017, to DIÁRIO AS BEIRAS.
