ADD FUEL creates mural in Lagos

From the 25th to the 30th of May, the artist ADD FUEL will create a large mural on the facade of the Mar d’Estórias building on Rua Lançarote de Freitas in Lagos.

This initiative results from a partnership between LAC – Laboratory of Creative Activities, Cultural Association, and Mar d'Estórias, which aims to give a new life to the great wall of the building and to contribute above all to the promotion of urban art in the city of Lagos.

The already recognized work of ADD FUEL, focuses on the reinterpretation of Portuguese tiles through the technique of stencil with contemporary graphic details.

ADD FUEL is Portuguese artist and illustrator Diogo Machado. With a degree in Graphic Design, he has participated in several urban art events and presented his works in collective and individual exhibitions, taking the name of Portugal to the four corners of the world.

Through the hands of LAC, Lagos has received, over the last few years, a reference urban art script, accessible to all who want to visit, now winning a new work of art on the facade of an iconic, multidisciplinary and 100% Portuguese space. This partnership will result in a mural with an area of approx. 100m2 (20m x 5m), which will bring a new life to Lançarote de Freitas street.
