After many doubts have arisen, other dates have even been set, in the last days, for the start of the tests, the district competitions of the Coimbra Football Association (AFC) will really kick off this weekend.
“At the moment, the situation is no better than it was in September, on the contrary. We can even say that it would have been better to start the championship in September than now. But we have to go ahead according to the possibilities ”, admitted the AFC president to DIÁRIO AS BEIRAS.
THE Council of Ministers last week came to shuffle the accounts to the world of football and generate many doubts about the possibility or not of doing district competitions this weekend, but, according to Horácio Antunes, these doubts are clarified: “The resolution of the Council of Ministers allows us to say that physical activity is equivalent to professional activity ”.
An understanding in line with “the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF)” and which even has a history. “As early as August this was set for [a Associação de Futebol de] Lisbon and a statement was made to allow these displacements ”, he says.
