African Wildlife Exhibition in Olhao

The José Mariano Gago municipal library gallery, in Olhão, will host, until January 31st, a photo exhibition by Vitor Azevedo, under the theme “Wildlife of Botswana and South Africa”.

The exhibition includes photographs taken in Chobe National Park, Botswana, and South Africa's Timvabati Private Reserve, depicting life, the struggle for survival and the food chain.

“Death is closely linked to life, which becomes a constant and cyclical rebirth, a principle that moved Vitor Azevedo to do this set of works,” says the Olhanense municipality.

From the “mix of beauty, brutality, sweetness, aggressiveness and survival” present in African wildlife came this set of works now exposed to the public.
