For the fourth consecutive year, Albufeira Town Hall sees all of its beaches recognized with the highest environmental award: 25 Blue Flags of Europe, plus the Marina award. Albufeira returned to lead the ranking of the bluest municipalities at the national level.
Albufeira is the county of the country with more distinctions, a total of 25. This is the fourth consecutive year that Albufeira sees the totality of its beaches are recognized with this seal of quality, positioning the county in the first place at national level.
Also the Marina of Albufeira returns to present the award, along with the following beaches: Germans, Arrifes, Aveiros, Barranco das Belharucas, Castelo, Coelha, Evaristo, Falésia / Açoteias, Falésia / Alfamar, Galé Leste, Galé Oeste, Inatel, Manuel Lourenço, Maria Luísa, Eyes of the Water, Oura, Oura-Leste, Peneco, Fishermen, Low Rock, Lower Rock, West Low Rock, S. Rafael, Salgados and Santa Eulália.
The president of the municipality is pleased to see recognized "the work that is developed throughout the year, so that the awards that confirm the good environmental quality of the beaches continue to be hoisted in every bathing season."
