By the end of this year, the repaving of the road connecting Vale Parra to Guia must be completed. This intervention, in addition to the recently signed contract to solve several specific problems on streets, highways and roads, combines an investment of around 930 thousand euros, aiming to improve the road network of the Municipality.
The municipality explains that "investment in the municipal road network has been one of the great priorities of the Municipality of Albufeira in recent years, along with basic infrastructure such as water and sanitation. The municipality states that "several contracts have recently been signed, one of which is for the resolution of specific problems and another for the 1281 path".
The contract for the execution of the contract for road 1281, linking Vale Parra to Guia, concerns corrections of pavement deformed by roots along the roadway and the pavements, curbs and berms being reformulated.
Longitudinal drainage organs, such as ditches and hydraulic passages, will also be executed, over-raised walkways being reformed and vertical signaling replaced as well as transverse and longitudinal marking. This requalification means a value of almost 380 thousand euros and the work should be completed by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, the Municipality also signed last week a contract worth almost 450 thousand euros, to put an end to various problems in streets, roads and roads that need to be requalified.
The Municipality thus hopes to "solve various irregularities of floors, berms and walks, a little throughout the county".
