The young Alentejo cyclist Raúl Ribeiro (Agricultural Credit / Almodovar) won the overall standings of the National Cup of Hope, after being the most regular in the races over the weekend.
After Marcelo Salvador's triumph on Saturday in Anadia, Sicasal / Constantinos once again stood out on Sunday at the Curia circuit. This time, Wilson Hope hoped to embody the superiority of the Torrienses, imposing itself among the trio that stood out slightly from a group of 12 units.
Wilson Esperança finished the 90 kilometers of the race in 2: 19.23 hours, relegating Raúl Ribeiro, Évora's natural runner, to 2nd place and junior João Silva (Bairrada) to 3rd position.
In the sum of the two races this weekend, the most regular was Raúl Ribeiro, who gave Almodôvar's team the National Cup of Hope, with a total of 100 points. Marcelo Salvador was 2nd, with 80, and Wilson Esperança closed the podium of the absolute general with 75.
Among the juniors, the overall winner was João Ferreira (Joaquim Agostinho Academy / UDO), with 110 points, ten more than Hugo Martins (Mato Cheirinhos / Vila Galé / Etopi) and 22 more than João Silva.
Sicasal / Constantinos were the best team in the sum of both races. In juniors won the formation Mato Cheirinhos / Vila Galé / Etopi.
