An online event about science on a daily basis, broadcast live on the Facebook pages of the various organizational partners, will mark the European Researchers' Night in the Algarve, which is celebrated today, Friday, the 27th.
The Ciência Viva do Algarve and Tavira Centers, the Science Club of the João da Rosa School Group (Olhão) and Europe Direct Algarve come together today, starting at 7:30 pm.
Participants will address “science in our built heritage and science in our natural environment, but also citizen science, the science that any of us can do and / or disseminate”, promises the organization.
Topics such as heritage, environmental volunteering and Europe's role in science and innovation will be discussed with the participation of Cristina Teté Garcia (Algarve Regional Directorate for Culture, Center for Studies in Archeology, Arts and Heritage Sciences), Paula Vaz (Portuguese Environment Agency – ARH Algarve) and Ana Paula Burnay (Europe Direct Algarve Center).
This meeting is organized within the scope of the Science and Technology Week 2020 and the European Night of Researchers, and is addressed to the general public.
