AlgarOrange – Algarve Citrus Operators Association will present the Algarve Citrus Promotion Project in Foreign Markets next Friday, 6th, in Faro.
During the session, which will take place between 9:00 and 13:00 hours, in the auditorium of the Algarve Regional Coordination and Development Commission, the actions foreseen in the internationalization project will be announced, followed by a round table on the citriculture of the region.
Following the opening session, the project will be presented by AlgarOrange Vice-President Sílvia Neves, followed by a round table with the participation of Amílcar Duarte, professor at the University of Algarve, who will address the theme “Phytosanitary Threats of the Algarve Citriculture »; António Ramos, CCDR / Algarve Regional Dynamics Coordinator («Strategic Importance for the Algarve of this SIAC Project»); Gonçalo Santos de Andrade, President of Portugal Fresh («Internationalization and Market Trends»), João Fernandes, President of the Algarve Tourism Region («Algarve: Tourism and Agriculture Synergies») and Pedro Valadas Monteiro, Regional Director of Agriculture and Fisheries ( "Citrus in the Algarve. What challenges?").
