The Algarve Hotel and Tourism School (EHTA), in Faro, will promote an Open Day on Thursday, 28, announcing its training offer for the next school year.
Through showcookings, workshops, games and interactive dynamics, the EHTA promises an "ambitious" program that "goes way beyond simply opening doors to potential future students."
The main objective is to raise the veil over the world of hotel and tourism and make feel what are the functions of each professional, for example a chef or a hotel director.
The activities, which take place between 9:30 and 17:00 hours, will be prepared by the current students of the different courses, which cover the areas of Tourism, Cooking, Pastry, Catering and Beverages and Accommodation.
In addition to visiting the school premises, visitors will be able to attend showcookings and demonstrations and also participate in workshops, workshops and interactive activities.
"Open Day" is an extremely important initiative for us as it allows us to approach the local school community and present what is best done at our school through our best ambassadors, who are our students, "he said. says EHTA director Paula Vicente.
The initiative registers every year a huge turnout, with the participation of students from the region's schools but also from the general public.
