The Almancilense, who holds the trophy, and Ferreiras will play the final of the Algarve Cup of football, in a game scheduled for May 22, from 20:30 at the Estádio Algarve.
The formation of Almancil, from the 1st District Division, began by driving away Marítimo Olhanense's CD on penalties, 9-8 after a two-goal draw at the end of regular time, before defeating Armacenenses 2-1. In the quarter-finals, the Loulé team went to Faro and eliminated 11 Hopes, 1-0, and return home in the competition, defeating, for the same result, the Silves.
Already Ferreiras, currently ranked 17th in the Portuguese Championship Series D and already relegated to the district ranks, entered the knockout stage in a tie in which they beat Messinense 3-2, followed by Lagoa with a 6-5 triumph in the penalty shoot-out after 2-2 in regular time, and Esp. Lagos, 3-0.
