The executive of the City Council of Almodôvar approved, in a meeting held on Wednesday, 20, new measures to support the business fabric of the municipality, worth more than 29 thousand euros.
In addition to the measures previously disseminated, the Alentejo municipality approved yet another batch of applications worth approximately 29,591 euros, in addition to the 25,000,000 euros approved last week, from the municipal budget, in full, to support businesspeople.
This measure is part of the PATECA – Support Program for the Business Fabric of the municipality of Almodôvar and is part of the 250 thousand euros made available under this program.
More than 50 applications to PATECA have already been received at the Almodôvar Chamber, which remains available until the end of May.
The executive also determined the exemption from the payment of terrace fees for two years and the possibility of expanding existing terraces up to 50%, "when physically possible, safely, in order to fulfill the recommended social distance".
For António Bota, Mayor of Almodôvar, “the municipality's priority is to invest with everything possible to revitalize the county's economic fabric”.
