Amália Rodrigues tribute show at Club Farense


Club Farense, in the downtown of the Algarve capital, will host, next Saturday, the 29th, a show of tribute to Amália Rodrigues (1920-1999), within the scope of the centenary of the birth of the most important Portuguese fado singer.

Fado singer Inês Graça will remember some of her timeless themes, accompanied by the award-winning Ricardo Martins (Portuguese guitar), Bruno Davide (viola) and Luís Trindade (bass).

The chosen repertoire includes the various phases of Amália's artistic life, such as traditional fado, the Lisbon marches, the great poets (David Mourão Ferreira, Alexandre O'Neill, Camões, José Régio) and the partnership with the composer Alain Oulman .

In this concert, you will be able to hear themes such as «People that Lavas in Rio», «Fado Xuxu», «Give to Drink to Pain», «Black Boat», «Portuguese House» and «Oiça Lá Ó Senhor Vinho», among others .
