APAL promotes Albufeira in the Spanish market


Beaches, gastronomy, culture, heritage, experiences, unique activities and excellent accommodation conditions, add to the proximity and security as aspects appreciated by most tourists visiting Albufeira.

Taking advantage of the recent reopening of borders, APAL launches the #RedescubreAlbufeira campaign and reinforces the positioning of the “Capital of Tourism” in the neighboring region of Andalusia.

#RedescubreAlbufeira is the motto of the promotional campaign that APAL – Promotion Agency of Albufeira, carries out during the months of July and August with the Spanish market. The initiative aims to promote a destination that remains one of the favorites of “nuestros hermanos” and has the support of the Municipality of Albufeira.

Reinforcing the reputation of the Albufeira and Algarve brand, generating business for this summer, are goals to be achieved. Hotels, DMCs, resorts, apartments, local accommodation, rent-a-car, golf, activities and experiences, congresses and incentives, are some of the tourist products that will be represented.

Taking advantage of the recent reopening of borders, the bet is placed on the region of Andalusia, with a particular focus on the urban areas of Seville and Huelva. With 2.5 million inhabitants as a whole, these cities and their urban areas represent two of the main tourist destinations in Andalusia.

The campaign represents a presence in the local and regional press, investment in social networks, advertising in urban public transport, billboards and billboards.
