Armacenenses announced today that, for security reasons, next Sunday's game with Vit. Setúbal, counting for the 3rd round of the Portuguese Cup, will be played at the Bela Vista Stadium, in Parchal, in the neighboring municipality of Lagoa.
At stake is the expected influx of public affection for the I league team, which led the two emblems, together with the authorities, to rule out the match at Armação de Pêra Municipal Stadium.
"For information from Vitoria de Setúbal, a large number of supporters of that club can visit the Algarve to watch the match of the Portuguese Cup. Thus, following a meeting held today between the two clubs and the police authorities, it was decided that next Sunday's game will not take place in our stadium, "said the Portuguese Championship club in a statement.
The match, scheduled for 15:00 hours, will be one of the five involving Algarve teams in the Portuguese Cup third round.
The Portimonense, of the I Liga, will be the first to take action, on Saturday, 20, at 15:00, traveling to the site of Cova da Piedade (II League).
The other four badges play on Sunday, all at 15:00.
In addition to the Armacenenses, the Farense receives the Arouca, both of the II Liga, the Silves (District) welcomes the visit of the Desp. Chaves Satelite (Championship of Portugal) and the Louletano goes to the land of Recreio de Águeda, both of the CP.
