Aaron Ramsey will leave Arsenal after 11 years. The Welsh midfielder is on his way to Juventus after failing to renew their contract with the Gunners.
The player says goodbye in the worst way, as he will not be able to play this season: Ramsey have a hamstring injury in his left leg and will miss today's first leg match of the Europa League semi-final against Valencia. The game against Napoli, in the quarter-finals of the competition, was the last one of the player in the shirt of the Londoners.
The player took the opportunity to say goodbye to Arsenal in an emotive message posted on his Instagram page.
"I am saddened to say that the game against Napoli was the last I made with the Arsenal jersey. Unfortunately, it left me with an injury that puts me out for the rest of the season, I am really disappointed not to play to the end and not I can do everything for the club while I am still Arsenal player. Unfortunately, it is out of my hands, but I wanted to thank the supporters for the support.
It was a trip, on and off the field and so much happened during these 11 years. I was a kid when I arrived and I leave a man, married, parents of three boys and full of pride and memories that I will keep forever.
"This weekend will be emotional – my last game at home. I hope to see you there and thank you again from the bottom of my heart for everything."
