At the beginning of June, Azul Linhas Aéreas started operating with direct flights from Campinas to the city of Porto, in the north of the country, becoming the 12th destination contemplated by the company abroad.
It should be noted that Azul increased the offer of flights between Brazil and Portugal to 17 frequencies per week, strengthening the main center of connections of the company in Viracopos.
Between Campinas and Porto flights will be operated three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, with Airbus A330 aircraft, with 272 seats in three classes. The company will use on this route, on alternate dates, the A330-900neo, with 298 seats.
It should also be noted that the city of Porto will be the second European destination to count on flights from Azul, beyond Lisbon being the most southern destination of the country (Faro) completely outside this strategy.
And with the new flight, Campinas, which is now the main hub of connections in Latin America, will have direct and regular connections to 59 of Azul's 113 destinations, of which six are international: Orlando and Fort Lauderdale, Buenos Aires and Bariloche (Argentina) and Lisbon and Porto (Portugal).
