Bernardo Silva takes Manchester United away from the title race in England

Bernardo Silva, Manchester City midfielder, gave an interview to Sky Sports where he expressed the ambition to win the English title. The Portuguese international believes that there are four more teams capable of fighting for the first place with the 'citizens'.

"Both Chelsea and Liverpool are candidates, they are very strong, as are Arsenal," said Bernardo Silva, dismissing rivals Manchester United led by José Mourinho.

The Portuguese player believes, however, that it will be more difficult to win the Premier League this season, given the "great competitiveness" that exists in the event.

"This year will be more difficult because last year no one expected us to win so many games and we would reach 100. Now the other teams know us and know what they have to do, let's work to win the three points in all the games and we want to celebrate the conquest of another Premier League, "he added.

With ten games to go, Manchester City are leading the table with 26 points from ten games, the same as Liverpool, and two points behind third-placed Chelsea. Arsenal are fourth, with 22 points.
