The judoka Bernardo Tralhão (-60 kg, from the Christian Association of the Youth of Coimbra) had a positive test for the new coronavirus and will fail the Europeans from Lisbon, being replaced by Vasco Rompão (+100 kg), revealed the president of the Portuguese Judo Federation (FPJ).
“Bernardo was infected two months ago, and now we two PCR tests performed had a negative first, and then a positive one ”, justified to the Lusa agency the president of FPJ, Jorge Fernandes.
A situation that does not allow the judoka from Coimbra to enter the Europeans, which take place between Friday and Sunday, after all the judokas are required to undergo two PCR tests and a third one in the days before the competition.
