Brigid Kosgei wins Women's Race in Lisbon


Kenyan Brigid Kosgei today won the Lisbon Race, Women and Life, which proves more than 32 thousand euros for the Portuguese League Against Cancer.

The Kenyan athlete, who won the London Marathon last April, gave no chance to her opponents, running alone from the starting shot and cutting the goal with the mark of 15.13 minutes, leaving well behind the second-placed Benfica Ana Dulce Félix, which ended in 16.46 minutes.

Sporting player Susana Francisco closed the podium with 17.01 minutes.
