Former Sporting president Bruno de Carvalho gave an interview to SIC where he recalled the last moments in the presidency of Sporting.
The former leonino leader spoke about the attack on the Academy of Alcochete and refers to it as "total nonsense" and "a heinous crime", also repudiating the criticism that they were targeted.
"I suffered because they attacked my house." The Academy was also my home as president of Sporting, and I often say that the players are my children, and they hit my children. State, almost blame me all night, "he said.
Bruno de Carvalho also criticized his former "management colleagues" for lack of cooperation during the birth of his daughter, Diana, something he admits was "very difficult" to accept.
"For some reason, when there was that General Assembly, five members of my Board of Directors decided to stand for election. For me, this is total disloyalty, and they could not talk to me face to face," he shot.
The former leonino leader ended the interview with Júlia Pinheiro with a request: "They were five and a half years of great pride. I really liked that the sportinguists were, at the very least, just and grateful for a job I did."
