In a match on Matchday 3, held in Kampala, the Ugandans finished the first half to win 2-0, with goals from Okwi and Miya, and the second half Okwi bisou and made the final result of 3-0.
The two teams will meet again next Tuesday, 16, in a match on Matchday 4, this time to be held at the Setsoto Stadium in Maseru, capital of Lesotho.
On the same day, Tanzania and Cape Verde play in Dar Es Salaam at the National Stadium in a match that may be crucial to the Cape Verdeans' aspirations for CAN2019 after a 3-0 win on Friday.
The Uganda team leads the group with seven points, followed by Cape Verde with four, Lesotho and Tanzania, who did not score in this round, remain with two points each.
