American actress Elle Fanning, a member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival, said she had fainted at a gala dinner on Monday because of the tight dress she was wearing.
Fanning, who has an intense program of viewing and partying at La Croisette for being a member of the jury, wrote on the Instagram: "Oops, I fainted tonight in my 1950 Prada party dress, but it's okay."
He posted a selfie with his thumb up, adding the hashtag #dresstootight [vestido apertado demais] and #timeofthemonth [naqueles dias].
According to Variety magazine, British actor Colin Firth, attending the same dinner, rushed to help her, as did her sister, also actress Dakota Fanning.
At age 21, the actress is the youngest member of the jury, chaired by Mexican filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu.
The nine members of the jury will decide on Saturday which of the 21 films in the competition, among them "Once Upon a Time in … Hollywood" by Quentin Tarantino, "A Hidden Life" by Terrence Malick and "Pain and Glory" by Peter Almódovar, will take the Palm of Gold.
