Cristina Rodrigues assumed the management of the subsidiary of Capgemini Portugal in July, as managing director, being the first woman to lead this market unit of the consultant present in our country about two decades ago. The appointment followed the restructuring of the group worldwide, which has now been defined by regions.

The Portuguese subsidiary achieved results of 30 million euros in 2018, with a 9% operating margin. The objective is to grow steadily in the next few years and in 2022 to generate double the values. The financial sector, joining banking and insurance, is responsible for 50% of the business. Energy & Utilities is well underway this year and is expected to continue to increase in 2019. There are also optimistic forecasts for the Manufacturing and Retail & Distribution sectors.
In services provided, growth estimates are for the cloud and infrastructure, around issues such as cybersecurity, and for software development, for example in the automation field.
