The students of the 11th and 12th years of Castro Marim, who study in Vila Real de Santo António and resume classes on Monday, will have school transport provided by the municipality of Castro.
The municipality drew up a special free school transport plan that will allow students to stay at the Escola Secundária de Vila Real de Santo António “just as long as is strictly necessary”.
Transport between Castro Marim and VRSA was provided by Eva, who is reduced to minimum services, with few routes compatible with the schedules resulting from the new directive.
"This way, it will also minimize waiting times in the surroundings of the Escola Secundária de VRSA and avoid the need to prolong the circulation times in the public space", adds the municipality of Castro.
Municipal school transport ensures compliance with the regulatory measures of the Directorate-General for Health, regarding the occupation of the vehicle and the reinforcement of hygiene measures.
If students do not need school transport, the municipality of Castro Marim asks those in charge of education to inform the Social Action Office of the municipality, by calling 281510742.
