Hotel unit is located between the intersection of Praia Verde and São Bartolomeu
The municipality of Castro Marim will have a new rural hotel – The Prime Praia Verde, located in the Vale da Velha area, between the intersection of Praia Verde and São Bartolomeu, informed the local authority.
The mayor of Castro Marim, Francisco Amaral, underlined, in a statement, the work carried out by his executive in “reducing bureaucracy in licensing processes and encouraging private initiative, which have promoted the appearance of new investments”.
“The new hotel integrates a differentiated tourist offer, where the nature of an Algarve that is still wild, peaceful and simple mixes with the space”, points out the municipality.
The Prime Praia Verde goes through the enhancement and expansion of an already built area, in the country house modality, with 42 rooms and four suites, a spa salt, with a heated water tank and an outdoor swimming pool, with Sal de Castro Marim, with treatments and massages based on fleur de sel ”.
The rooms are also “inspired by the surrounding nature and interconnected to the architectural tradition of the region”, with the use of materials such as lime, tiles and Santa Catarina tile, as well as their decoration, using local artisans.
In order to promote sustainability and the local economy, says the municipality, “gastronomy will be inspired by the concepts 'farm-to-table' and wood oven, opening up to local producers”, also using “ amenities ”made with natural products, without the use of plastic, or the use of photovoltaic and solar panels and rainwater reuse tanks for irrigation.
