The Municipality of Castro Marim invested in the acquisition of new furniture for the dining room of the Kindergarten and Kindergarten, along with the requalification of outer space.
"More modern and adapted to the needs of children, the dining room space is now up to date, with more resistant, waterproof and easily washed and disinfected equipment," says the local authority.
In relation to outer space, works that will give place to a multifunctional place and which responds to the development needs of the different age groups of the equipment proceed to a good rhythm.
Five different zones are projected: the central space, with children's equipment, a lawn, a zone of educational gardens, the terreiro and the external technical area.
Work will also be carried out on the drainage of waste water and the rainwater network.
This is an investment of around 165,000.00 euros, supported by CRESC Algarve 2020, supported by Portugal and the European Union, with a co-financing rate of 50% by the ERDF.
"These are investments that aim to increase better hygienic and sanitary conditions, as well as the adaptation of the space to the current pedagogical demands, bringing the contents taught in the classroom to the dining and recreation spaces, providing other skills of mobility and knowledge of the environment "Says the Castro Marim chamber.
In a communiqué, the municipality left a public thanks to the Group of Schools and to the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Castro Marim, which, over the years, have secured the Day Care and Preschool in Castro Marim, "in a building and space that the municipality seeks to modernize and improve ".
