The deal was made official in early July by Rui Fontoura, CEO of Saphety, and Francisco Cary, administrator of Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD). One of the measures allows Caixa TOP companies to access, under advantageous conditions, solutions that allow the dematerialization, simplification and automation of business processes between organizations.
This process will be implemented “safely, reliably, efficiently and economically, in accordance with the applicable legal framework”, assure the companies in the press release.
In a statement, Rui Fontoura said that this partnership "contributes to the modernization and digitization of Portuguese companies, providing them with efficiency and productivity gains that reinforce their competitiveness".
CGD awards Caixa TOP status to companies that excel in the most dynamic sectors of the economy and have annual sales growth of over 20%, or to exporting or innovative companies with growth of over 20% in exports.
Caixa TOP status is also attainable by “PME Líder” companies or by integrating the rankings of the 1,000 largest SMEs or 500 best SMEs.
