Funchal will host next weekend the final stage of the City Race Euro Tour circuit in pedestrian orientation, played by more than 400 athletes from 23 countries, revealed to Lusa today the organization of the race.
The Belarusian Pavel Krasko and Croatian Antonija Orlic will defend the leadership of the European circuit, which began in May in Aveiro, and has already passed through the Spanish cities of Merida and Girona, London and Manchester in England, Ypres in Belgium, and Pomegranate.
In addition to the Portuguese who will take part in the competition, there are 105 players from the United Kingdom, 33 from Norway and 29 from Spain, the largest foreign teams.
These circuits consist of tests of orientation in urban environment, in this case in the historical center.
The same competition, organized by the Clube Aventura da Madeira, is also part of the last stage of the Portugal City Race.
