Clube Condeixa wants to move up to League 3

O Club Condeixa it is a “phase” of making history in its 121-year existence. After winning one of the places in the group stage of access to League 3, the training coached by Rui Amorim wants to guarantee his presence in the new championship created by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). "It is a difficult task, but we want to be there," he told the DIARY AS BEIRAS coach Rui Amorim.
For now, the only known opponent in the group stage is Marinhense (4th place in group E of the Portuguese Championship).
Torreense, Alverca and União de Santarém are the best positioned in the F series to become opponents of Clube Condeixa.
“We will have to wait for the next weekend, when Alverca and Torrense are facing each other to know who
wins the group. Regardless, I believe it will be a very balanced group and where, in addition to Condeixa,
everyone will want to be in the new championship ”, stressed the coach.
Satisfied with the achievement of this goal is the club president. Sérgio Fonseca said that, at a certain point in the season, he even thought that access to the group stage for League 3 was at risk, but “we managed to overcome the difficult stage and, thus, guarantee this place”. Regarding the group stage, the manager believes that the team is better and, as such, has all the conditions to be “in the first two places that give access to the new championship”.
