"Colors that paint us" in Albufeira - Jornal diariOnline Região Sul


The entrance hall of the Paços do Concelho building will be filled with works of art, written by young people from Albufeira. It is the most significant work of the students of the visual arts classes of the 11th and 12th years of schooling, of the G and F classes, of the Secondary School of Albufeira.

In the exhibition will be works carried out in the disciplines of Drawing A and Workshop of Arts, taught by Professors Idalina de Oliveira and Patrícia Quintino, in the areas of Artistic Installation, Painting, Drawing, Design and Sculpture.

The purpose of the exhibition is to take students' work, developed throughout the year, to the educational community, in order to create a close relationship between the two. The Association of Schools of Albufeira Poente, bets "in a dynamic where collaboration between students and the surrounding community is a vital competence, and where Creativity and Critical Thinking are the capital in the formation of individuals capable of facing the challenges of the future".

This exhibition reflects the collective and articulated work between the school, students and their caregivers, valuing the Arts and Creativity, promoted by ESA's Scientific-Humanistic Visual Arts Course.

In all, it is possible to appreciate 24 paintings, several designs in different sizes, nine models and 19 masks of plaster. The opening, at 16:30 next Friday, May 31, will feature a Stand Up Comedy moment, by Tony D.

To see until June 14, in the lobby at the entrance of the building of the Town Hall of Albufeira, between 09:00 and 17:00.
