Creactivity, an itinerant project of the "la Caixa" Foundation and BPI, which has been in more than 40 Portuguese cities, begins to be presented in the Algarve on Tuesday in Tavira.
It is a bus that converts into a mobile unit and has four areas of activity (Mechanics, Wind, Electricity and Light).
In each, children and young people may have different experiences involving science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
After Tavira and, until Friday, 7, the project goes to Olhão, Faro, Albufeira, Portimão, among other Algarve localities.
Creactivity aims to stimulate the ability to design and develop original solutions to simple problems.
"Young people of school age participate in activities with everyday materials and tools with different degrees of technology to give life to their own ideas," says the organization.
In a playful and collaborative way, Creactivity allows you to explore materials, plan, create new designs, use common materials and give them new functions through open and interdisciplinary proposals.
Other more transversal competences, such as cooperative learning habits, self-knowledge for learning, and the creation and realization of projects, are also being worked on.
