The Municipal Council of Vila Real de Santo António provides, from this week, the Crisis Support Office, a tool open to all companies in the municipality and which will work completely free of charge.
The aim is to “provide advice and information to entrepreneurs and self-employed workers”, now that new restrictive measures are approaching due to the enactment of yet another state of emergency, “with a further slowdown in economic activity being expected”, explains the municipality .
The service will also seek to assist in the application process and access to the set of credit lines already guaranteed or that may be made available by the Government, constituting a useful tool to support the county's economy in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The objective is to “promote tools that can preserve the productive capacity of companies and jobs, ensuring that they have sufficient liquidity to satisfy their obligations to suppliers, customers, workers and the State”.
The line also provides legal information on the regulations and diplomas that may be enacted, namely the limitations of the functioning of commerce and companies during the validity of the state of emergency, also promoting psychological or social referral in case of need.
The office will be available from Monday to Friday, from 10:00 to 13:00, through the number 910 890 100 or, alternatively, through the email [email protected], counting on a network of employees of the VRSA municipality who will provide, by phone or by email, all necessary clarifications.
