The CTT – Correios de Portugal, in partnership with the Correios de Moçambique, started today, Monday, 25, with a collection action of clothes donated by the Portuguese to send to Mozambique.
With the passage of Cyclone Idai, thousands of Mozambicans were affected by the floods, so "the help of everyone is fundamental", stresses the company.
The CTT are providing solidarity packages so that the Portuguese can send clothes to Mozambique.
Those interested can go to one of the 538 stores scattered around the country, order a package, place the donation and send it free.
The Portuguese can contribute clothing, one of the great needs in Mozambique, according to the request of the Correios de Moçambique.
"This action, in collaboration with the Mozambican Post Office, involves the entire CTT universe, in particular our store network, which allows agile and dynamic actions to transform this action into a huge success contributing to the affected Mozambican communities. It moves us to help Mozambique, "says Miguel Salema Garção, director of Brand, Communication and Sustainability of the company.
The collection of donations at CTT stores runs until 8 April.
