The idea is to create a community that is interested in cultural materials that are not limited by copyright rules and offer them access to content that is not usually easy to find by sharing them in the Curationist and thus facilitating the creation of new meanings and links.
The site collects the contributions and organizes them into collections, with classification by themes, materials, history periods and location. Shared resources have their history and context and can be crossed with other narratives and materials freely and openly.
The collection can be viewed online, with detail and information about who published the information, and used to give rise to other creations.
Among the most interesting "exhibitions" that are online there is an exhibition of posters throughout history and a work on academic art.
Those interested can also apply to join the group of collaborators and become a "curator", editing and organizing content and helping to "frame the world".
