The Portuguese Consumer Protection Association (Deco) received, in the period 2018 and the first half of 2019, 3,168 complaints about aggressive sales and unfair commercial practices, reveals the "Jornal de Notícias" (JN) in this Thursday's edition. .
Most citizen complaints concern energy contracts. The association has received “many complaints about door-to-door sales of new energy contracts”, mainly in the northern part of the country.
JN also writes that the Energy Services Regulatory Authority has received, until last month, 161 complaints of fraud in the new contracts, 155 more than in 2018.
