Delivery of school supplies and tablets in Olhão already has schedule - Jornal diariOnline Southern Region


The Olhão City Council has already announced the delivery schedule of differentiated material kits, exercise books and tablets, for each level of education, for the 2019/2020 school year.

This year, the project «Caíque Bom Sucesso» is also beginning to be implemented, which will provide all students in the municipality with a tablet, an indispensable tool for the modernization of teaching methods and teaching resources available to students.

About 1,300 4th, 7th and 10th grade students receive their tablets this year. Approximately 2,000 children attending the 1st cycle will also be offered a kit of educational material that includes, among others, notebooks, pencils, pens or colored sheets, which will be used during the school year.

The 1,500 students who will attend the 1st, 2nd and 3rd years of the 1st cycle will also obtain, through the Municipality, their exercise books, being the textbooks offered by the Ministry of Education.

The delivery schedule in the various groupings will be as follows:

According to the local authority, it is mandatory to present the identification document of the student and the guardian.

This offer aims to continue the implementation by the municipality of educational policy measures that promote effective equal opportunities for access and success in school.
