The 6th edition of the DeVIR meetings, which was canceled in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, will recover part of its schedule with new dates, starting in September.
"As promised, we are back, even with the constraints that the current situation requires us", pointed out the organization of the event, initially scheduled for the period between March 13 and May 30.
The festival's program is back on September 18, at 9:30 pm, with the dance shows «O rei na exílio», by Francisco Camacho (Portugal), and «entre contências», by Eduardo Fukushima (Brazil).
«Beautiful me», a dance show by Gregory Maqoma (South Africa), will be performed at the Cineteatro Louletano (October 9) and the Lagos Cultural Center (October 11), both at 9:30 pm.
The dance continues on November 7, at 9:30 pm, at the Center for Performing Arts of the Algarve (CAPa), in Faro, with «Maybe she could dance first and think later», by Vera Mantero, and «Under the flesh» , by Bassam Abou Diab (Lebanon).
On the other hand, between the 1st of October and the 15th of November, the photographic exhibition «Resgate / Busca», by Vasco Célio, will be on display in the foyer of Teatro das Figuras.
