Almost a month after the decision to withdraw from GRAP, the Portuguese Football Federation yesterday issued a clarification to the clubs on how it affects the classification of Series E of the Portuguese Championship, where the three teams representing the Football Association of Coimbra.
According to the document, which DIÁRIO AS BEIRAS had access to, GRAP "was sanctioned with a fine, impediment to participation in competition for 1 sporting season and disqualification from the Championship of Portugal".
But what really interests the clubs in Coimbra is how this withdrawal interferes in the classification.
Thus, in Article 3a of the Disciplinary Regulation of the FPF, point no. 5, it is mentioned in point a) that “the team of the sanctioned club is immediately prevented from continuing to compete and loses all points so far won in the competition in which the infraction was practiced and subsequent ones, when applicable, which do not revert, however, in favor of the opponents that faced until then ”.
