A victory in the penalty kicks allowed Condeixa to beat the Azorean team of Lusitânia and move to the third round of the Portuguese Cup, in football.
At Condeixa-a-Nova Municipal Stadium, both teams played a very close match, which ended 0-0. This was followed by an extra-time extra goal.
The shoot-out eventually required a penalty kick and the home side were happier and 5-4.
With this result, Pedro Ilharco's men will go to the 3rd round, in which, for the first time, they will compete in I Liga teams.
