The League authorized 409 spectators for the game Academic of Viseu–Academic, of this Thursday, in Viseu, in what will be the second test with public in the professional competitions in Portugal, a source of the club viseense told Lusa.
For the game, to be held at the Fontelo stadium, 409 tickets are available, 10% of the official capacity recognized by the body that manages professional football competitions in Portugal, which is 4,090 seats, and according to what was defined between the Liga and the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).
The tickets, in a first phase, will only be available to captive members of the Academico de Viseu.
A first test in the spectators' resumption program to the matches of professional football competitions took place last Saturday, at the São Miguel Stadium, in Ponta Delgada, between Santa Clara and Gil Vicente, in a game of the fifth round of the I League, in which were attended by 873 spectators, official figures, a value within the fixed limit of 10% of the total capacity of the stadium, which is 10,000 seats.
In addition to these games of professional competitions, also the next games at home of the Portuguese team, the one with Spain, on Wednesday, at the José Alvalade stadium, and Portugal-Sweden (14 October), counting for the Liga das Nations, and also in Alvalade, were allowed to receive 5% and 10% of the seating capacity, respectively.
The final test will be in a new game of the 2nd League, on October 15th, in the match between Feirense and Desportivo de Chaves, which, like the meeting between Académico de Viseu and Académica, is a game that is behind schedule on the first day, both postponed due to several cases of covid-19 among players of the viseenses and flavienses squads.
