The coach of Tondela, Pako Ayestarán, was confident today that he will achieve “something positive” against Nacional, in a game of the 11th round of the I Liga de soccer.
“All games are very important, this one even more, because it is a rival that is among those nine teams and, therefore, we are preparing the game well. We know about the difficulties, both of the team that is having a good performance this season, and of the stadium ”, assumed Pako Ayestarán.
From there, continued the Spanish coach in the preview of the game of Sunday, scheduled for 15:00, in the Madeira Stadium, the players “are apt for the game, except the ones that were expelled” in the last game, case of João Pedro and Pedro Augusto, who saw the fifth yellow of the championship.
"The truth is that we are confident that we can achieve something positive," added Pako Ayestarán, who recalled that there are nine teams between nine and 11 points and, therefore, the achievement of three points can put Tondela in the middle of the table, just like any of the other eight.
The head coach of the ‘beirã’ team also considered that, “regardless of the classification and the teams being very close to each other”, the three points, in case of victory, leave the club in an “apparently more comfortable” situation.
“It is a relative convenience, because being so close in two games you can be well and in two games you can be bad, that's why each game is important and we have to work hard for the victory and we will try to end the year with a victory ”, he wished.
Regarding Sunday's opponent, Pako Ayestarán recognized, in all the games he saw, “a very proactive team, from the beginning to the end of the game, who tries to have a lot of position and maintain the game's width” and, in this sense , acknowledged that they expect “an offensive team”.
Tondela, 16th, with nine points, will go to the Madeira Stadium, at 15:00 on Sunday, to face Nacional, 13th in the table, with one more point (10), in a game counting for the 11th round of the I football league.
