The training of the training classes of medium-risk sports will be allowed again on Monday, after 13 months of global stoppage, at the beginning of the third phase of the deconfinition plan in Portugal.

After the return of low risk sports and physical activity outdoors or in gyms and gyms for up to four people, on April 5, the Council of Ministers decided to continue the strategy of reopening this sector in the face of the covid-19 pandemic .

In the batch of news are the main collective modalities, cases of handball, basketball, soccer, futsal, roller hockey and volleyball, whose professional divisions continued during the second general confinement, in force since January 15th.

Korfball, beach football, hockey and inline hockey, water polo, aquatlon, underwater hockey and underwater rugby will also return to action, as will wheelchair rugby, which will complete the range of sports for people with disabilities.

The resumption of youth classes began to be rehearsed in the second half of 2020, when the newly created guideline no. 036/2020 of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) imposed a social distance of three meters in training without a competitive horizon.
