Unstoppable. The young swimmer União 1919, Diogo Matos Ribeiro, will spend a Christmas with many reasons to celebrate, but, for that, he has not had rest in the last days.
At the Junior and Senior Christmas Tournament of the Coimbra Swimming Association, which took place this Tuesday and Wednesday in Coimbra, Diogo Ribeiro broke two national records for a short pool.
On Tuesday it was in the 100m freestyle race, which ended with the time of 49.56, thus guaranteeing the best national time for juniors-17 years.
Yesterday was the best mark in the 50 moths with a record of 24.49, below the previous record of 24.96 set by Salvador Gordo in December 2019.
Two records to add to the other achieved on Saturday, but in a long pool, during the Open of Jamor, in the 200 free event.
