The match between B.C. Viseu and Academic, referring to the first day of 2nd league 2020/2021, to be held on October 8, is one of three club games marked for “monitoring” the “behavior of supporters we stadiums”By the monitoring group composed of the DGS, Portugal League and pulmonologist Filipe Froes, the League reported yesterday.
The other two games are the already known CD Santa Clara – Gil Vicente FC (Liga NOS), and the CD Feirense – GD Chaves (2nd League) scheduled for October 15th.
Meeting of responsible
The president of the Portugal League, Pedro Proença, met yesterday with the Secretaries of State for Health, Youth and Sports, as well as with the Director-General of Health, resulting in a commitment to advance to a group of test games, so further analysis. The game Ac. Viseu – Académica enters this lot, which also includes the national team's games with Spain (7th) and Sweden (14th, for the League of Nations).
In this context, it was decided to create the aforementioned professional football monitoring group, which “will analyze exhaustive reports on each of the three meetings”.
The day after the reports are made, there will be working meetings, with the last one taking place on October 19th, to define the next steps.
