For the second consecutive year, the Algarve Hospitality and Tourism School (EHTA) is hosting a group of 12 students from Goa, India, under the exchange protocol established between the two countries.
The exchange takes place under the protocol between Tourism of Portugal and V. M. Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education, of Goa, aiming the formation of students and trainers of both countries.
Student Rui Horta from EHTA traveled to Goa with other students from hotel schools between February 3 and March 3 and throughout the stay the group was in contact with Indian cuisine and culture.
In this experience, there was an opportunity to recreate an Algarve menu with the confection of the famous cataplana.
The training program at the Algarve school provides numerous activities, including cooking, pastry and bakery workshops, bar and wine and gastronomy, and visits to renowned tourist attractions and companies in our region.
The group of students and the trainer will remain in the Algarve until May 17.
